Toda la saga de Seiko 6138 con los modelos base y algunas variantes. Al margen del dato técnico del calibre, uno de los primeros cronómetros automáticos del mundo. Su dureza demostrada desde 1970 hasta nuestros dias, no podemos olvidar esos fantásticos y atractivos diseños, que a dia de hoy pasan por modelos actuales, tanto en el diseño como en dimensiones.

Tenemos para todos los gustos, desde discretos diseños y tamaño contenido (40mm+/-) como son los 6138-8020, o 6138-8000, hasta los más deportivos y completos como los 6138-0012, 6138-0030 o 6138-7000, este último toda una herramienta de cálculo.

Para mí, como modelo indiscutible el 6138-0040 conocido como bullhead. Realmente el que más me ha emocionado y me ha metido de lleno en la gran marca Seiko,  un pedacito de su historia forma parte de mí con estos fantásticos cronos setenteros.

Los primeros ejemplares empiezan a salir al mercado en 1974, y duran como toda esta saga de movimientos 6138 hasta 1979. Durante este periodo se fabrican dos modelos base de distinto color, y se añaden variantes para la comercialización exclusiva en Japón. Empezaremos con estas versiones, que son mis preferidas.

El modelo 7010, comerzializado solo en 1970 únicamente para el mercado japonés, firmado water proof, y el 7002 variante más común para el resto del mundo. La caja es la misma pero el diseño es totalmente distinto. El armis, donde el 7002 lleva una variante de lujo y sobrio Stelux, el 7010 monta un exótico al más puro estilo Speed-Timer, lo mismo ocurre con el dial.
